Joseph Andall

Dear Residents of St. Patrick West,

I am Joseph Andall, a proud son of Chantimelle St. Patrick. For me, the success of others, especially those who succeed against the odds, is one of my greatest inspirations. I’ve had the pleasure of dedicating many years of service to Grenada and I endeavour to continue my service as a representative for this constituency in the upcoming general election. 

Over my years of service as a teacher, I have seen firsthand, the value that education brings to young people. I have seen Grenadians commit to overcoming strenuous economic situations to ensure that they succeed. It is therefore my commitment to work twice as hard, to be steadfast and dedicated to ensuring that all members in this community gain access to resources that assist them in overcoming any challenging circumstance. Together, we can move St. Patrick forward to be a parish that we are most proud of. 

MY VISION is to build a highly productive and sustainable constituency built on our parish’s unique social, cultural, and natural resources. 

UNDER MY LEADERSHIP in St. Patrick West I will endeavour to:

• Provide adequate, accessible, and affordable health care.
• Work with farmers to secure affordable inputs, adequate labour and equipment, and access to reliable markets. Poultry, cattle, and small ruminant rearing will be encouraged and supported, along with agro-processing and apiculture (honey and beeswax production).
• Enhance the fishing industry by providing better storage, docking facilities, and marine services. We will create more jobs by converting fish waste into animal feed, curing, and filleting. 
• Promote nature and community tourism. Historical sites will be developed and preserved, and we will invest in promoting and enhancing our traditional festivals to bring valuable economic activity to our communities. 
• Complete the Sauteurs breakwater/port project, with attention to restoring and protecting the Mt. Rodney and Copland Bay areas.
• Provide 24-hour community healthcare service at the Sauteurs health complex.
